2001 One Man Show

Brighton’s hardest working
comedian, Stephen Grant, returns with a new one man show for 2001! Route
1 is a story about a journey in the Autumn of 2000, when Stephen
bought a car navigation system on an internet auction. With neither
party willing to give up their goods or their money without seeing it
first; a deal was struck where Stephen would retrieve the goods, if
the seller would pay for the journey. However, in a month where rail
crashes, flooding, a flu epidemic and fuel protests nearly crippled
the country, the round trip turned into possibly the most nightmare of
journeys one person could experience, despite Stephen never leaving
Britain. The show chronicles Stephen’s attempt to get to his
destination, retrieve his goods, and get back home - and the
diversions, cock ups, and disasters, along with some worryingly
unhinged individuals, that befell him en route.

You can buy the video as well but the quality is a bit suspect, so
suggest a price so that I don't feel bad about it. |
